Anger Management

Control your anger
Psalm 37
7 Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for him: fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way, because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass.8 Cease from anger, and forsake wrath: fret not thyself in any wise to do evil.9 For evildoers shall be cut off: but those that wait upon the LORD, they shall inherit the earth
"Refrain from anger, and forsake wrath! Fret not yourself; it tends only to evil." "But you, O Lord, are a God merciful and gracious, slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love and faithfulness." "Whoever is slow to anger has great understanding, but he who has a hasty temper exalts folly (foolishness)
The Bible warns that holding on to anger can lead to sin, which is just one of many reasons why letting go of anger need to be something to work on and towards.
Anger causes an inability to control tempers and feelings. It hinders you from being able to let things go and get back to loving people.
Four ways to get that anger under control.
1. Control your temper
Sensible people control their temper; they earn respect by overlooking wrongs. -Proverbs 19:11
(You must all be quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to get angry)
2. Don't let your feelings control you.
And don't sin by letting anger control you. Don't let the sun go down while you are still angry, for anger gives a foothold to the devil. -Ephesians 4:26-27
(Don't sin by letting anger control you)
3. You pray and let it go
Get rid of all bitterness, rage, anger, harsh words, and slander, as well as all types of evil behavior. Instead, be kind to each other, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, just as God through Christ has forgiven you. -Ephesians 4:31-32
(Ask God to change you and get rid of your anger despite the rotten situation you're in)
4. Love
Love your enemies! Do good to them. Lend to them without expecting to be repaid. Then your reward from heaven will be very great, and you will truly be acting as children of the Most High, for he is kind to those who are unthankful and wicked. -Luke 6:35
